A friend in 2009/2010 recommended this product to me after seeing the advertisement.  I did not bother to even look it up in the internet until two nights ago.  I saw a lot of positive reviews from Amazon.

Scalp Psoriasis Treatment Suggestion #2

Scalp Psoriasis Treatment Suggestion #2:  Therapeutic Denorex, $9.99
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 07.27.13

After two nights, Denorex did it!  I am impressed!  I mixed Personal Care T-gel with Denorex for the strength of about 2.3% coal tar.  Tonight, I am going to use Organix Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo and conditoner.  I will alternate my shampoos since I know the immediate effectiveness of Denorex (the manufacturer directed to use Denorex sparingly).

Scalp Psoriasis Treatment Suggestion #1

Scalp Psoriasis Treatment Suggestion #1:  Olive Oil and Biolage products*

I have found that gently rubbing extra virgin olive oil (evoo) on my scalp helps with loosening flakes and with moisturizing hair and scalp even after wash.  After a good massage on the scalp, I let it sit for about 10 minutes with no heat cap.

The steps:
1.  Massage evoo on scalp
2.  Leave evoo on scalp for 10 minutes (optional:  cover head with shower cap)
3.  Rinse with lukewarm to cold water
4.  Apply Biolage products* (shampoo, conditioner, serum)

You will notice in a week that your hair will shine.
Continue this routine for a month.

Biolage is expensive but worth every penny.  The Biolage products nourish the scalp and hair like thick moisturizer for the skin.

*An alternative for Biolage products is Garnier Fructis Style Sleek and Shin Anti-Frizz shampoo, conditioner, and serum.  Garnier Fructis is affordable.

**I heavily rely on Amazon reviews with products.

Week 1:  June 23rd - June 30th
Observation of skin:  Red and multiplying, no plaques
Observation of scalp:  Red and slight flakiness

No pictures because my skin looked like the previous photos with less scales on skin now.  No need to produce more when result is insignificant.  I will post pictures after Week 1 of this experiment.

First and foremost, I'm bleaching my entire bathroom from shower head to tub, everywhere.  I want no molds and germs lurking in my territory.
